I can’t believe it! I never believed that I would reach anywhere near 500 followers on this site – I’m so proud of how far it’s come. Thank you so much for all your support in getting this site to where it is today, with a special mention to anyone who has ever nominated me for tags or awards – it means the world. Even if it takes me a year to actually complete the tag, I promise I still really appreciate it!

And so, I thought it might be fun to celebrate by looking at my 10 favourite posts from since I’ve started blogging. It was a bit of a blast from the past! I felt almost nostalgic, remembering all the time and effort I put into these posts I promptly forgot about.

I’d like to say that my style has improved as I continue to write. For me, it’s really interesting to see how I used to format my early reviews and posts – what about you? Can you see an evolution in your writing style? Let me know in the comments!

I’m a teenager (and a Hufflepuff) from Manchester. I like oversized jumpers, music that isn't on the radio anymore and books. Pretty much any book I can get my hands on but my favourites are Young Adult, fantasy and science fiction. One day, I decided to share some of my opinions on some great - and not so great - books to people around the world. And here it is! I really enjoy it and I hope you do too. The aim is hundreds and thousands of book reviews (see what I did there?) but I’m not quite up to that. Yet.

    also somehow I didn’t see the albums post?? bc oh my god you’ve got taste I gotta say!!! hunky dory is my favorite album of all time!! love ziggy stardust too, and I’ve been meaning to listen to more pulp for ages!!! I love common people and tv movie (and if you recreate the album cover on your wedding day I need to see the picture lol)

You always have the most creative ideas, and thanks so much for every nominations 🙂 You also clearly have great taste in music haha, David Bowie is my favourite musician ever ever ever. Pulp is amazing, and if you like different class I’d really recommend His N Hers 🙂

      1. awww thank you 😭💗 oooh I need to add his n hers to my list then, I’ve got different class and this is hardcore on there too!! big fan of britpop (except for oasis lol) so I definitely think I’ll enjoy them

  7. Congrats on 500!! 🎉 my review style has changed and continues to change over time haha. I also used to have so much more time to read and write reviews so the older ones are definitely more in depth (and long winded 😂)

    1. Ahhh that’s so true! I definitely find that I have less time now, although I suppose it’s forced me to become more concise like you said and not waste loads of time stressing about graphics. Although I do sometimes mourn my old Uber aesthetic posts hehe…
