Crosstitching THE Most Iconic Quote In Harry Potter

Hey! I’m back with some more crosstitch. In case you missed my earlier posts, I got into cross stitching in Lockdown, and have been at stitching some of my favourite characters and quotes. You can find all of my other crosstitching so far here

Honestly, I can’t draw for the life of me haha so I guess this is my way of doing fan art. Or fan sewing. This was a quick one I did at the weekend – I was listening to Bach for homework and sewing and felt like I was in Bridgerton. (No, I don’t normally listen to Mozart).

Now, I’m not entirely sure if this quote is in the books, but the moment Seamus Finnigan says this in the Philosophers Stone will be forever engraved in my memory. Please tell me it’s not just me that still hears it with his Irish accent 😂

What do you think? Do you have any ideas for ideas for quotes/characters to try next? Any tips would also be excitedly accepted haha.

I’m a teenager (and Hufflepuff) from Manchester. I like oversized jumpers, music that isn't on the radio anymore, and books. Honestly, any books I can get my hands on but my personal favourites are fantasy, mystery or your classic teen romance (it’s ironic I know but you can’t really go wrong with 'Eleanor and Park'). And one day, I decided to try and share some of my opinions on some great – and not so great – books to people around the world. And here it is! I really enjoy it; I hope you do too. The aim is hundreds and thousands of books (see what I did there?) but I’m not quite up to that. Yet.

    1. Thanks!! Harry Potter has supplied the word with some very iconic quotes. One of my favourites is one that I think was cut out of the films, but it’s when Harry tells Vernon that he watches the news ‘Because it changed every day… that’s why it’s called the news.’ 😂
