2020 Was Terrible But The Books Weren’t

We’ve nearly done it! 2020 is nearly over… and I’m as excited as Kermit there. Not to get too deep, but it’s been a difficult year for lots of people in lots of ways and hopefully 2021 can be a year of new beginnings. I was going to do a post talking about how my Goodreads Reading Challenge went but all I can really give you is the number, so please congratulate me on my…

88

books read this year! I’m proud of it (had a lot of time to read in all the lockdown). How many books did you read in 2020? This was also going to be another post, but here are my New Years Goals for this blog. If you could help me reach them by liking, following or sharing I’d be very grateful 🙂

  • 500 followers by the end of 2021
  • 50 likes on one post
  • Read 80 books, with more indie and queer authors
  • Read some ARCs? (Still working on how to do that haha).
  • More interaction with you guys!

Without further ado, here’s my top 20 books from 2020! I’ve been accumulating this list since January so my reviews are linked to the images. How many have you read? What were your favourite books from this year? Let me know in the comments 🙂

I’m a teenager (and a Hufflepuff) from Manchester. I like oversized jumpers, music that isn't on the radio anymore and books. Pretty much any book I can get my hands on but my favourites are Young Adult, fantasy and science fiction. One day, I decided to share some of my opinions on some great - and not so great - books to people around the world. And here it is! I really enjoy it and I hope you do too. The aim is hundreds and thousands of book reviews (see what I did there?) but I’m not quite up to that. Yet.

  2. I love the fact that I know almost all of your favourite books from 2020. XD We seem to have a really similar taste in books, which is why I’ll check out the few books I don’t know! *lol* Happy New Year! 😀 I hope it will be way better than 2020!

    1. Aw thankyou! Yes, the book theif *destroyed* me, but I’m so glad I read it. Crooked Kingdom is amazingggg and I really hope you like fangirl 🙂 Personally, I’d reccommend reading Carry On first because there’s a pretty big plot twist that you would know if you read fangirl first, but it doesn’t matter that much. Hope you enjoy it. they’re amazing!
