#TTT: Top Ten Books I Want For Christmas

Hey everyone! This week’s prompt is all about books I want for Christmas… I can’t belive that IT’S IN THREE DAYS! The tag was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but is now hosted over at That Artsy Reader Girl. What books do you want for Christmas (or if you don’t celebrate it, what are the top books are on your WTR list?). Have you read any of mine? Let me know in the comments 🙂

  • From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  • You Should See Me In A Crown by Leah Johnson
  • Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley
  • Pet by Akwaeke Emezi
  • Crier’s War by Nina Valera

I got through a lot of TV shows during Lockdown, and I was pretty excited to find out that a lot of them were based on graphic novels…

  • The Umbrella Academy: The Apocalypse Suite by Gerard Wayne (did you know that?!) and Gabriel Ba
  • I Am Not Okay With This by Charles Forman

And that was the post… Happy Christmas!

I’m a teenager (and Hufflepuff) from Manchester. I like oversized jumpers, music that isn't on the radio anymore, and books. Honestly, any books I can get my hands on but my personal favourites are fantasy, mystery or your classic teen romance (it’s ironic I know but you can’t really go wrong with 'Eleanor and Park'). And one day, I decided to try and share some of my opinions on some great – and not so great – books to people around the world. And here it is! I really enjoy it; I hope you do too. The aim is hundreds and thousands of books (see what I did there?) but I’m not quite up to that. Yet.

  1. Charles Forsman isn’t very talented IMO… I’m not sure why his graphic novels were made into Netflix series. I do want to read ‘You Should See Me in a Crown,’ I’ve heard so many good things about it. 🙂

    1. It’s really interesting you should say that! I was originally drawn to the graphic novels because I love the tv series. It’s a great idea (and Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff 🤩🤩). But I had a look at a preview of the book… and it’s just stick figures?! It’s definitely the book I want the least; and You Should See Me In A Crown is at the top 😊
