Hey everyone! This post was inspired by this one from Sarah Lillian Books – her site is brilliant, I’d really recommend you check her out.

There are so many LGBTQ+ books I’d love to read, so I thought I’d share some of them. One of the best things about reading in the 2020 is that the representation for LGBTQ+ characters and readers is phenomenal compared to the past. There’s still a long way to go: to have more inclusivity in all books and not have books labelled as only for LGBTQ+ people just because that’s what the characters identify as. Books are a brilliant way to educate yourself and to look for relatable content or help (see the books at the bottom for my favourite LGBTQ+ books 🙂 )

I’m a teenager (and a Hufflepuff) from Manchester. I like oversized jumpers, music that isn't on the radio anymore and books. Pretty much any book I can get my hands on but my favourites are Young Adult, fantasy and science fiction. One day, I decided to share some of my opinions on some great - and not so great - books to people around the world. And here it is! I really enjoy it and I hope you do too. The aim is hundreds and thousands of book reviews (see what I did there?) but I’m not quite up to that. Yet.

  1. oh my goodness, Song of Achilles!!!!!! I love that book so much, the mere mention of its NAME brings me to happy-but-also-miserable tears. What an amazing book ❤ I think about that romance every single day of my life dslfk

      1. I was in the same situation, I seen so much fan art but thank god it lived up to the hype for me 😭 my heart is crushed but Achilles and Patroclus didn’t let me down 😭
