πŸ‘Ό Good Omens Cross Stitch πŸ‘Ό

Hey! Today is a different sort of post. Over my isolation, I got into cross-stitch and thought I’d share one of my first creations.

(No one told me how time consuming it would be… or fiddly ugh).

Let me know if you have any ideas for quotes/ patterns to try next! Any tips would also be excitedly accepted haha.

I’m a teenager (and a Hufflepuff) from Manchester. I like oversized jumpers, music that isn't on the radio anymore and books. Pretty much any book I can get my hands on but my favourites are Young Adult, fantasy and science fiction. One day, I decided to share some of my opinions on some great - and not so great - books to people around the world. And here it is! I really enjoy it and I hope you do too. The aim is hundreds and thousands of book reviews (see what I did there?) but I’m not quite up to that. Yet.

  1. Good for you! I love cross-stitch. Always pick patterns you really like, it will help you make it to completion. I still have a bunch of unfinished projects liked-but-not-loved. I finished some loved ones that were pretty ambitious. Love is the secret ingredient.

    1. Aw thanks 😊 I’ve seen a few patterns I want to try but when I click on them it always flashes up *Β£5 entry fee*. Which is annoying. But you can do so much with cross stitch I’m looking forward to making lot of things πŸ™‚

      1. Look for Cross Stitch magazines. I found nice patterns that way. I built up a collection in my cross stitching days and it was a good resource. The world of magazines has changed a lot in the last decade but I still see a few of them out there.

  2. Aw wow! I’ve never done cross stitching (I dont have the patience!) If you’ve read Shadowhunters can you plsss do the ‘Shadowhunters looking better in black than the widows of our enemies since 1234″ quote πŸ™‚ I’m reading the series for the first time ( how have I not read it before?) and that quote made me laugh so hard, it would be so cool to see it in cross stitch. But wow! You’re so good πŸ™‚

    1. Haha that’s an amazing quote! I’m also reading them for the first time actually – I can’t think which book that quotes from? I’m only on the city of fallen angels but I’ve been reading the infernal devices at the same time because I was told I should read them in publication order? So it’s taking a while. I have to admit I’m feeling a little let down by all the hype surrounding the books, but I’ve got a few left so hopefully they’ll get better haha (I’ll stop going on lol – you can check out my review for the whole rant πŸ˜‰ )

      1. I’ll definitely check your review! The quote is from the first book I think, or maybe the second πŸ˜“πŸ˜ I should definitely read Cassandra Clare’s other books, once I finish The Mortal Instruments.
